Elkins corridor Medical Center

The Elkins medical center will be a "hospital without beds," according to WVU Medicine United Hospital Center CEO Dr. David Hess.

Contractors have estimated the project will be completed by 2025, Hess said.

ELKINS, W.Va. (WV News) — “A hospital without beds” in Elkins is set to be a part of WVU Medicine’s just-announced $400 million investment in West Virginia health care in coming years.

Construction of the $37.3 million facility, which will be linked to WVU Medicine United Hospital Center, is set to be completed by 2025, said Dr. David Hess, UHC’s CEO and president.
